Copyright Complaints (DMCA Policy)
Version 2026-10-27. Last updated October 27, 2026.
FLOORHOLLER respects the rights of copyright owners. People who post on FLOORHOLLER promise not to post material that infringes anyone's copyright. If you believe material on FLOORHOLLER infringes your copyright, you can send us a notice as described below. This process is modeled on the notice-and-takedown process in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.
1. Send a copyright notice
You can use the copyright request form, or send the same information by email or mail to:
floorholler@gmail.com
Michael Valentino, an individual doing business as FloorHoller
8212 Rebecca Creek Road, Spring Branch, TX 78070
FLOORHOLLER has not registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Notices sent to the contact above, or through the form, will still be read and handled as described on this page. This page does not claim any legal protection for FLOORHOLLER.
A notice should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (a typed full legal name is fine).
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The web address (URL) of the material you say infringes, with enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, mailing address or phone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Please be careful. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing can be held liable for damages. If you are not sure whether something infringes, consider speaking with a lawyer first. Notices you send are stored privately and read by the site administrator; they may be shared with the person who posted the material if we act on your notice.
2. What we do
When we receive a complete notice, we will review it and, where it appears justified, remove or disable access to the material. FLOORHOLLER has no private messaging and does not keep users' email addresses in its database, so we may not be able to contact the person who posted the material directly; where we can reach them, we may tell them what happened and share the notice, which includes your contact details. Incomplete notices may not be acted on. We cannot promise a particular response time.
3. Counter-notification
If you posted material that was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to post it, you can send a counter-notification to the contact above. It should include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material and where it appeared before it was removed; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed because of mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where we can be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may send it to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person tells us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking an order against you, we may restore the material about 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification.
4. Repeat infringers
We may suspend or permanently ban accounts of people who are repeatedly found to have posted infringing material, in appropriate circumstances.
5. Other complaints
Privacy, doxxing, defamation and safety concerns are handled separately. Use the content and legal request form. This page is only about copyright.
