Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-27. Last updated October 27, 2026.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Michael Valentino, an individual doing business as FloorHoller ("we", "us") about your use of FLOORHOLLER at https://floorholler.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You can still read public pages without an account.
1. What FLOORHOLLER is
FLOORHOLLER is a public discussion site. People post questions and statements and reply to each other. Every thread and reply is public. Anyone on the internet can read them without signing in, search engines can list them, and other people can copy, quote, screenshot or archive them. Your public username is shown next to everything you post. FLOORHOLLER has no private messaging, private groups or private conversations, and you should not expect anything you post to be private. The Service is currently run and moderated by one administrator, who posts publicly as "Roscoe".
2. Your account
- You sign in with a Google account and choose a public username. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We do not check ages, so you are responsible for meeting this requirement.
- You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your Google account secure.
- Your username is public. Your Google name, email address and photo are not shown to other users. The Privacy Policy explains what we store.
- We may suspend or ban accounts as described in section 6. A restriction is tied to your Google sign-in, not just to your username, so choosing a new username does not lift it. Creating other accounts to avoid a restriction is not allowed.
3. You are responsible for what you post
You are responsible for everything you submit, including threads, replies, statements and opinions ("Your Content"). Please think before you post. You confirm that you have the right to post Your Content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.
You keep ownership of Your Content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute Your Content as part of running the Service, including making it visible to the public and to search engines. This license lasts as long as Your Content is on the Service, plus the time needed to remove it from caches and any backups we hold, and for any copies we keep under section 6 or because the law requires it.
You can delete your own threads and replies at any time with the Delete button. Deleting clears the text from the Service; copies others have made, and any private moderation records described in the Privacy Policy, are not affected.
4. Other people's opinions are their own
Content posted by users represents the opinions and statements of those users. It does not necessarily reflect the views or positions of FLOORHOLLER, its owner, or its administrators. We do not endorse any user's content. We do not independently verify user submissions and do not guarantee that anything posted is accurate, complete or lawful. Do not rely on anything posted on the Service as legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
5. What you may not post or do
You may not use the Service to:
- make credible threats of violence, or encourage, organize or facilitate violence;
- facilitate unlawful activity;
- publish another person's private personal information (for example a home address, phone number, email address, government ID number or financial account number) in order to target, intimidate or harass them;
- engage in targeted harassment or intimidation of a person;
- make false statements of fact about a person that unlawfully harm their reputation (defamation);
- commit fraud, run scams, or send spam or repetitive promotional messages;
- post sexual content involving minors, or any other content that is unlawful to distribute;
- infringe someone's copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
- interfere with or attack the Service, use bots or automated posting, evade rate limits or restrictions, or try to manipulate votes or reports.
Disagreement, criticism and unpopular or controversial opinions are not prohibited. We do not remove content because of the viewpoint it expresses. The Service is text only: images, video, audio and file attachments are not supported.
6. Reporting and moderation
We may review, temporarily hide, remove, or restrict access to content and accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or that create safety or security concerns. This can happen without prior notice when we think that is appropriate. How it works:
- Reports. Signed-in users can report a thread or reply and give a reason. Reports are private: the person reported is not told who reported them, and reporters are not shown publicly. The administrator reviews reports and may dismiss them, hide or remove the content, or restrict the account.
- Temporary hiding. Content can be hidden from public view, for example automatically when many different accounts report it, when an established account reports it as a threat, or when automated screening (fixed rules running on our own server) finds it may contain a threat or exposed private information. Hidden content is not deleted. It stays hidden until the administrator decides to restore or remove it. Automated tools make mistakes, and content hidden by mistake can be restored.
- Removal. Content that violates these Terms may be removed.
- Account restrictions. We may suspend an account for a period, or ban it permanently. You will be shown a reason when you try to use a restricted account.
- Private moderation records. The administrator keeps a private history of moderation decisions, including copies of hidden, reported or removed content (with sensitive numbers masked), the reasons for reports, and who decided what and when. Only administrators can see it. The Privacy Policy describes what is kept.
- Emergency measures. We may pause new threads or replies, or limit how often accounts can post, to protect the Service.
We try, in good faith and using reasonable procedures, to respond to reports of unlawful, threatening, harmful, defamatory or otherwise prohibited content. We do not monitor everything continuously and we cannot promise that every violation will be found immediately or at all. If you think a moderation decision was a mistake, contact us (section 13); we will look at it but cannot promise a particular result or response time.
7. Reporting problems and legal complaints
To report content that you think is unlawful, threatening, a privacy violation, defamatory or infringing, use the content and legal request form, or email floorholler@gmail.com. Signed-in users can also use the Report button on any thread or reply. Copyright complaints are covered in our copyright policy. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (911 in the United States) first. We are not an emergency service and cannot respond to emergencies.
8. Links and third parties
Users may post links to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. The Service uses Google services for sign-in and hosting, and Resend to send the administrator's alert emails; your use of Google services is also subject to Google's terms.
9. Our rights in the Service
The FLOORHOLLER name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. Except for Your Content, you may not copy or reuse them without permission.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful content. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of this may not apply to you.
11. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for content posted by users, for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where the law does not allow a limitation, it does not apply. These Terms do not remove any responsibility that the law says cannot be removed, and do not claim that we can never be held responsible for anything. Federal law, including 47 U.S.C. § 230, gives certain legal protections to services that host content created by others; we do not promise that any particular protection applies in any particular situation.
12. Changes and ending
- Changes. We may update these Terms. For a material change we will ask you to accept the new version before you can post, reply, vote or report again; you can still read the site without accepting. Small corrections do not require acceptance. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.
- Ending. You can stop using the Service at any time. To ask about deleting your account, see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access as described in section 6.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights that the law says cannot be waived.
